Missed what was said at the podium? On the Power Training Grounds? Don’t sweat it, UnionFanTV has you covered. Read up on the quick hits from Jim Curtin’s Weekly Presser.

Curtin is scheduled to take the podium at 12:30 today.

Curtin on the Crew’s 3-4-3: “We made it easy for them [Colombus center backs].”

Union gaffer says the team wasn’t decisive enough in Saturday’s match, says ending the match without a shot on goal is “inexcusable.”

Jay Simpson is questionable for tomorrow’s match

Simpson apparently sustained an injury to his ankle, after a late tackle by Kekuta Manneh.

Fafa Picault is still questionable

Picault trained on the side at training today.

CJ Sapong will be good to go against Colombus tomorrow night

Curtin says they chose to leave Sapong out of the 18 on Saturday for “precautionary reasons,” after the Union’s top goal scorer sustained a minor sprain to his ankle in the match versus Montréal.

Derrick Jones is retaking a concussion test today

Jones apparently failed Major League Soccer’s initial protocol, after sustaining a concussion in the friendly against Welsh side, Swansea City AFC. Curtin calls it more of a “communication injury” than a concussion injury.

Curtin says that while no calls have come in yet for Blake, he sees the Jamaican one day playing for a “top club in Europe.”

McCarthy has been more than admirable filling in for the absence of the Union’s No. 1. Curtin had this to say about young McCarthy:
